As a sole designer the task was to design a new mobile app and corresponding SAP HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) services to deliver Mid and Year-End reviews to mobile devices that allows the completion of forms by employees and their managers offline which is then synchronised with the servers.
Design process
My approach
After being briefed by the product owner, I set up a workshop with the end client to map out the scenarios. In the following days I played that back to the client for validation and moved onto all the user flows Mid end and Year end. Once they were approved by client and product owner I moved onto high fidelity wireframes followed by prototypes.
One important part of the process was to liaise with the Aura team (Product owners) in Spain to seek design approvals and consistency across global teams.
User test
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to utilize the client's staff for a moderated user test and iterate accordingly.
UI design
Using the companies Brand guideline I created the full UI for the native app, having numerous reviews to ensure the guidelines were met.
Development
I worked closely with the development team to ensure all aspects of the UX/UI designs were implemented.
